GECO EXPO caters towards startups and enterprises that offer innovative solutions and promote sustainability through actions, products and services.
From the success of GECO EXPO, GECO decided to implement its offer by creating GECO For School, an educational, innovative and virtual project on Green Education for Italian high schools, with the objective of bringing attention towards sustainability issues in the Education field specifically considering the study and work opportunities it might foster.
The project -which is admission free for schools- keeps on reaching important national results such as the government recognition (MIUR), which sees GECO For School as approved by the Piano RIGenerazione Scuola.
The presence and the participation of universities and enterprises inside the project contributes not only in effectively educating the new generation but also allow for the creation of a vertical sustainable community where different actors can present themselves, meet with other fellow realities thus leading to positive synergies.
GECO For School sees theory and practice become one.

The switch from virtual to real is made possible by the national contest “La Tua Scuola Sostenibile” where students have to come up with an original project on how to make their school more sustainable.
Many of the prizes offered by the partners can range from educational courses to physical sustainable objects.
