Biography:
Dr. Elena Cadel is a psychologist and an expert in the field of food and sustainability. Fascinated by issues concerning the relationship among food, people and the environment, she obtained a European Ph.D. at the University of Milano-Bicocca. She moved her first professional steps in the fields of marketing research and communication and is now a freelancer, with over 10 years of experience in the teaching sector. She has been involved in several programs of scientific dissemination on food sustainability issues and holds seminars and workshops on food psychology. She joined the BarillaCFN foundation in 2014, where she contributes to several projects in the communication, research and education area.
Elena lives in Turin with her husband and daughter, loves cooking and traveling. She is fond of Japan, its culture and language and achieved a Karate black belt.
