Dr. GIUSEPPE PALMA, Veterinarian, is Secretary General of Assoittica Italia - National Association of Fish Companies, President of the Interprofessional Organization of the Fishing and Aquaculture Industry in Italy and Secretary General of the National Network of Hotel Institutes of the Itatico. He is a member of the Board of Directors of AIPCE-CEP (AIPCE EU Fish Processors and Traders Association - CEP European Federation of National Organizations of Importers and Exporters of Fish), is a member of the Scientific Committee of the A.I.V.I. (Italian Association of Veterinary Hygienists), is a member of the Executive Board of ANDMI (National Association of Wholesale Market Directors), is Coordinator of the European project "Blue Academy for Professionals of the Seafood Industry - BAPSI", EUROPEAN COMMISSION - Sustainable Blue Economy EASME / EMFF / 2018 - EU project nr. 863545 and held, as Manager, the position of Director of the Wholesale Fish Market of Pozzuoli. He participates in numerous working groups and technical tables at various Ministries and institutions. He has prepared, managed or participated in various national and international research projects. Since 2003 he has regularly held lectures at some Schools of Specialization in Inspection and Hygiene of Food O.A. while there were various lectures, conferences and in-depth studies at Italian universities. He has participated in over 20 scientific publications, drafted some information brochures and participated in the drafting of various volumes relating to the fishing sector.
