Biography:
Marco Guazzoni is the Sustainability Director at Vibram, the world’s leader in the innovation and commercialization of high-performance rubber outsoles in the sport, leisure, industrial, orthopaedic and repair markets. He is a senior executive with a proven history of innovative business development and successful people management for global companies.
Throughout his 25-year career, he has garnered extensive expertise in executive leadership that ranges from strategic planning and channel development to streamlining processes and maximizing return. He excels in managing and coaching teams of 100+ employees to improve company performance both family-owned and multinationals.
Further, his ability to build consensus among executive teams and stakeholders is an indispensable tool that he employs daily to optimise success in new and existing markets. He strives to model the motto, 'Be the change you want to see' to executives, staff, and partners.
Before joining Vibram, Marco has held positions such as General Manager at Mogar Music SpA, Key Account Sales Manager at The Dow Chemical Company and Technical Sales Engineer at Gallay Conteiner & System.
Outside of work, Marco is part of the Board in Forum de la Meritocrazia, an association that wills to bring more meritocracy to Italy. Also, he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes participating in sports, international travel, lifelong learning, and building friendships with people across spectrum cultures and communities.
Marco holds a degree in Electrical Engineer from Politecnico de Milano, an MBA from SDA Bocconi, and a Master’s degree in Company Sustainability Management from 24ORE Business School.
