Biography:

Pier Luigi Belvisi, Associate Professor of Political Economy at the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT). Currently he also holds the position of Vice Rector for Quality Assurance, Head of the Quality Presidium and Member of the University Library Commission. Trained at the University of Siena and the University of York, in the period 1987-2004 he was a researcher in Political Economy at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He has taught at the Universities of Perugia, Molise, Lumsa, Moscow and the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. It also belongs to various associations and research groups, such as the Italian Society of Economists and the American Economic Association. The research areas in which it operates are: Digital Economy, Italian Economy, Economics of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Economics of Culture, Economics of Awareness.
