Biography:

Rudi Bressa is an environmental and science journalist. As a naturalist, he began writing mainly about conservation and animals, but soon specialized in environmental sustainability, up to nowadays dealing with the climate crisis, energy transition, circular economy and biodiversity protection. He collaborates and has collaborated with the major national newspapers (Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Le Scienze, Vanity Fair, Huffington Post and others) with some international publications (El Pais, China Dialogue, Food Unfolded). He is on the board of the Clew journalism network, an international group that brings together journalists from all over the world specialized on climate and environmental issues. His most recent trafficking inquiries were funded by the Journalism Fund in 2019 and by the IJ4EU in 2020 and then in 2021. "Until the last roar" was named one of the best inquiries of the year by the Earth Journalism Network . Co-author of various volumes on the circular economy, today he has turned his interest in the conservation of biodiversity and the implications it has on widespread well-being and on mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
