Biography:

Stefano Caserini co-founded the degree in Environmental Engineering and the PhD. Lecturer in Climate Change Mitigation at the Politecnico di Milano, he carries out scientific research and consultancy on inventories of greenhouse gas emissions and strategies for their reduction, as well as processes for the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere. He is Project manager of the Desarc-Maresanus project (www.desarc-maresanus.net) and coordinator of the Working Group "Climate Change" of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development. Author of numerous scientific and popular publications, he has published six books, the last two being The climate has already changed. 9 good news on climate change (Edizioni Ambiente, 2019) and Sex and the climate. What no one has told you about climate change yet (People, 2022). He is co-author and interpreter of Some Like It Hot - Climate Change Conference-Show.
