Biography:
Previously employed in the Purchasing Department of small businesses, I began my journey in the AB Group 11 years ago, initially dealing with logistics. Business Travel for AB really represented a very small part of the business and of my working time. The exponential expansion of our markets and the need to govern and supervise the process in the best possible way, made me "see" this opportunity to become a Travel Manager. A role that was not assigned to me by anyone, but I was "created" by nothing. By acquiring skills in various previously little-known fields (Finance, Marketing, It, not least Health & Safety), participating in training courses and trying to always be updated as much as possible on the trends and news offered by the market. I'm definitely not going to stop here, as someone said the best success is the next, so thanks to the support of the company that has continued to invest and create trust / security in the most important asset (employees), we have planned an evolutionary step of my role from Travel Manager to Travel & Global Mobility Manager with the aim of establishing a clear organizational supervision and an inter-functional process capable of governing and supervising the movements of people at 360 °, acting in maximum protection of the employer and employee.
